About series Namiki
The Namiki pendant luminaire series (from the Japanese “tree-lined avenue”) brings Japanese aesthetics into contemporary product design. The name reflects an ordered space filled with natural light and pure lines. The series draws inspiration from traditional Japanese interiors, where every detail carries meaning and soft contours echo nature’s graceful silhouettes.
Each luminaire features a shade made of 5-ply plywood coated with a special varnish that highlights the natural wood grain and ensures durability. This natural material creates a warm, cosy atmosphere, contrasted by the stark black hardware that adds a modern touch. The series offers three shade shapes, enabling both individual accents and complex lighting installations tailored to various scenarios. An LED light source with a three-step colour temperature switch (2700 K / 3000 K / 4000 K) provides flexibility, from a warm, cosy glow to neutral daylight.
Namiki integrates seamlessly into diverse interior styles, becoming a key element of the space. It strikes an ideal balance between tradition and modernity: natural materials and well-considered functionality create a calm atmosphere, whilst combinable forms encourage design experimentation.
