About series Twins
Minimalism, functionality, simple forms, engineering ingenuity and distinctive character, these are the very criteria upon which the visual language of the Twins series was created. The sphere is the most natural form of light source for humans from birth. That is why this simple and perfect form became the basis for the collection. Sceptics say that everything has already been invented before us, especially in minimalism and spherical forms. But the Twins lighting series is a groundbreaking assertion that everything ingenious is simple. Simply white spheres are simply suspended on a wire and mounted flush against the ceiling so that the base is not visible. What could be simpler? Yet it was precisely this concealed surface-mounted base that was previously unavailable.
The Twins series comprises four sizes of pendant luminaires, a floor lamp and a ceiling luminaire. Some models feature a 2-in-1 design: they can be mounted on either the wall or the ceiling. The highlight of the series is the distinctive method of assembling and installing the ceiling luminaire. Thanks to the clever concealed design, only the white glass shade remains visible, whilst behind it are hidden: LEDs, a compact driver and even space for the cable used to adjust the height of the lights.
