is an association whose main goal is to protect the dark sky from light pollution.
It’s very important for us, as we add the reduction of light pollution to our sustainability agenda, which already embraces , recyclable materials, and timeless design - which keeps our products relevant and attractive, so they don’t need frequent and wasteful replacement.
DarkSky certifies commercial, industrial, and residential outdoor lighting that reduces light pollution.
The certification is based on meeting an extensive range of strict , including, amongst others, the general use of warm-toned light sources (typically 3000K CCT and lower), with specific additional conditions for different types of lighting.
Our new certification applies to our . Stainless steel fittings ensure exceptional durability of the luminaires. Resistance to corrosion and weathering guarantees that the appearance and functionality will be preserved for many years, even when used in aggressive environments, with extremely low power consumption (just 4W) and light upward output under the DarkSky requirements.
Thanks to its compliance with a number of technical requirements for the residential lighting, it has been approved by the association and included in the list of recommended products .
