The Maytoni brand and designer Alexey Danilin took home four awards at the prestigious Italian A'Design Awards 2026 — one of the most recognized international design competitions, established in 2009 in Como, Italy.
We submitted works across three categories — Architectural, Interior, and Outdoor lighting. Each awarded collection is not just a source of light, but a story embodied in form.
Anima Outdoor Lighting: Harmony of Contrasts
The Anima collection unites the sophistication of interior décor with the reliability of outdoor lighting. Its acrylic glass, engraved with a wave pattern, creates a mesmerizing caustic effect when lit — evoking sunlight dancing on water. Acrylic offers impact resistance, UV stability, and weatherproofing, making Anima both a functional luminaire and a piece of visual storytelling.
ZERO Track Luminaire : The Infinity of Light
ZERO is a series of magnetic track lights whose circular form evokes the number zero, infinity, and the sun. A magnetic mount allows tool-free installation in seconds; 100°+ rotation enables precise beam direction; a white matte diffuser ensures glare-free illumination; and a dimming function lets you shift effortlessly from task to ambient light.
Ikebana Floor Lamp : Floristry Brought to Life by Light
Ikebana merges Japanese philosophy with contemporary design — and doubles as a vase for floral arrangements. The upper light highlights the bouquet as an art object, while the lower light creates soft ambient illumination. A tinted glass vase, marble base, and detachable construction reinforce the aesthetic of minimalism and harmony.
Hope Table Lamp : Optimism Through the Experience of the Past
Hope draws inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman sculpture. Smooth ceramic forms with classical proportions meet advanced LED technology, controlled by a touch-sensitive metal sphere — one tap adjusts the brightness from work light to cozy nightlight. Two interchangeable spheres (chrome and brass) let you tailor the lamp to any interior.
