At Maytoni, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s aesthetically and practically possible in lighting. And when we exhibited at Lichtwoche Sauerland 2025 recently, it was an outstanding forum for us to demonstrate our latest innovations.
This prestigious event brought together lighting professionals, designers and enthusiasts fr om around the world in Germany’s beautiful Sauerland region. Our team showcased a range of innovative lighting solutions to them that embody our commitment to quality, design and sustainability.
But what are the latest hero products that captivated the visitors to our stand over the course of the week? And how could they help you achieve success in your lighting projects, too?
Decorative newcomers in a variety of styles
Beautiful lighting can add decorative flair to a room or space. But originality is the key here – and at Lichtwoche we were delighted to show how our lighting designers have challenged convention to create styles for any project or environment.
Shape, material, and mood all play their part in striking the right aesthetic note. The elegant, spherical uniformity of Bruma, for example, contrasts with the more rustic, naturalistic orb of Misterio. Both are the same shape, both are pendant lamps, but each has a very different visual appeal.
In a different design idiom completely, and made for a different purpose, the Opus table lamp is elegant and organic, with the overall effect enhanced by its offset, pearl-like light source.
Award-winning innovations
But it’s not just the visitors to our stand at Lichtwoche who were wowed by our decorative lighting solutions. The industry itself has applauded them, with two products winning high-profile awards.
The Spirito design, for example, a multiple award-winner (Red Dot Award, Archiproducts Design Award, A-Design Award), inspired by themes of spirituality and the motif of the crystal ball, totally rearranges conceptions of lighting types. Although it stands on a surface it projects light upwards, which is then reflected back down to bathe the space in a celestial glow. Light from above without a light above!
Red dot Award-winner Crochet, for its part, is a floor-lamp that imitates the intricate patterns of ancient craft-knitting, both through the interwoven elements of its metal frame, and the flexible, low-energy LED cord that forms its light source.
And our best-selling Bangkok pendant lamp, with its hand-blown look, impressed the award judges with its sophisticated oriental design cues, and its simultaneously modern and retro feel, blending delicacy and finesse in equal measure.
The technical angle: we’re on track!
When stunning lighting meets smart technical solutions, the results can be breathtaking - and at Lichtwoche we gave our stand visitors insight into the latest innovation from our technical design team - the Flarity modular track system.
This sleek metal solution, which can be extended and added to using both straight and curved modules, for maximum design flexibility, is the perfect mounting for repositionable lamps. Enabling you to focus light wh ere it delivers the most practical or aesthetic benefit.
And with its wide variety of lighting options and fittings – spherical, conical, downlighter panels, spots, and more – Flarity certainly made an impact at Lichtwoche, generating strong interest fr om the designers, architects, lighting specialists, and other professionals who we were pleased to welcome onto our stand.
