About series Bergamo
Bergamo is inspired by the Italian city of the same name, with its layered architecture, differences in height and long history of building on itself. The series carries that spirit into a broad, versatile family of luminaires: familiar, unhurried silhouettes held together by a monochrome palette, where the texture of fabric and the restrained meeting of materials are the real accents.The series includes pendants, ceiling, wall, table and floor luminaires. The metal frame is offered in glossy chrome or in black with an anti-glare finish. The drum shade comes in four options: a deep grey with an active texture, a smooth light grey, a white version with a black trim, and a semi-transparent white. The replaceable light source sits behind a white fabric diffuser, and the pendants carry a three-metre cable so the height can be tuned to the room. The floor lamp is height-adjustable through a telescopic rod.Bergamo is designed as a practical tool for contemporary interiors. Its neutral palette and restrained forms sit comfortably in a minimalist loft, a family living room or a considered study, working equally well as ambient light and as a way to zone a space, filling the room with a soft, even atmosphere that lets the architecture speak.
