About series Basic form
Basic Form takes its name at its word. The series is built around the sphere, the most elemental of shapes, and lets that geometry carry the design without decoration. The result feels calm and universal, equally at ease in a contemporary room and in a softer, neoclassical setting. The frame is offered in monochrome black, white or gold, three finishes chosen because they slip into almost any palette, including layered, stylistically complex interiors. The shades come in two readings: a single matt white sphere, or a double volume where a matt white inner shade sits within a clear hand-blown outer one. A threaded fitting makes the G9 or E14 bulb easy to replace, and a three-metre adjustable cable adapts pendants to rooms with generous ceiling height. The range covers single pendants and wall luminaires in two diameters, together with three- and five-shade compositions, so Basic Form can carry an entire interior in a single quiet language.
