About series Orotte
Orotte carries its meaning in its name, drawn from the Italian oro notte, the gold of the night. The series holds the calm glow of a night sky and the last light of a sunset on water, and brings those images into the room through a considered play of light, shadow and refined materials. The range includes a chandelier with ten shades, a single pendant and a wall luminaire. The design lives on a gentle contrast. At its base are shades in glossy milk-white glass that carry a soft, even light. Around them, decorative glass elements with a wave-like pattern in a deep golden-coffee tone are held by a metal frame in satin brass, and the three materials together give the series its luxurious, tactile character. The chandelier's segmented rod and the adjustable three-metre cable on the pendant let the height be tuned to the room, and a replaceable light source, hidden inside the shade, keeps the glow diffuse and comfortable.Orotte is a quiet synonym for contemporary classic. It settles into traditional and contemporary interiors with equal ease, bringing a note of refined luxury and a slow, deliberate play of light. Chandelier, pendant and wall luminaire compose a coherent lighting environment, ready to fill a room with the warmth of a golden night.
