About series Rock garden
Rock Garden takes its cue from the Japanese tradition of karesansui, the dry gardens in which a few carefully placed stones are enough to compose an entire landscape. The series brings that same restraint to the wall, where a single sculptural form becomes a small, deliberate event in the room rather than an object simply mounted onto it.
Each luminaire is made of ceramic and has the quiet, rounded presence of a stone that has been shaped by time, softened at the edges and settled into place. Offered in a warm beige and a soft, chalky white, the two finishes read as natural mineral tones. The light works in the same register as the form. It settles softly onto the wall and lets the surface around it breathe, giving the room a gentle sense of pause, well suited to a bedroom, a hallway, a reading corner or the calmer public areas of a hotel or spa.
