About series Cubeo
The Cubeo series of wall luminaires is a visual rebus, where the name reveals the very essence of the design: the geometric rigour of the Cube meets the soft harmony of the O (circle). Inspired by the aesthetics of Cubism and other avant-garde movements of the early 20th century, the series represents a synthesis of classical art and contemporary design, uniting contrasting forms into a surprisingly harmonious whole.
The distinctive character of the series lies in its forward-looking structural design: the base, with its complex geometric shape, is mounted to the wall in such a way that all fixing elements become completely invisible, ensuring a precise aesthetic appearance. This technology allows for the creation of complex and expressive metal compositions without visual clutter. Three colour options for the metal base, black with an anti-glare finish, brass, and platinum with a subtle shimmering finish, allow the luminaire to serve as either a subtle or a striking accent in the interior. The frosted glass sphere, concealing the replaceable light source (G9 base), contrasts with the sharp angles of the base and ensures even, comfortable light diffusion.
By harmoniously combining the clean lines of the base with the spherical shade, Cubeo creates a dynamic interplay of forms, whilst the concealed mounting emphasises the design’s minimalist and conceptually complete nature.
