About series Flat
Flat takes its name from the shape at the heart of the series and from a second, quieter meaning of the word in English, the room the light is made for. Each luminaire is built around a slim plate of tinted glass, coloured through the material during production so the tone stays even across the whole surface and the transparency reads as intentional rather than incidental.
The plate itself does most of the work. Its clean geometry sits alongside the straight lines of a contemporary interior, following the architecture instead of decorating it, while the light passes through the tinted glass and takes on the same soft, considered tone.
The series is offered as a family of wall luminaires and a pendant, so the same visual language can carry across a room, from the wall of a hallway or a living area to the space above a table. Flat is a quiet piece by design, meant to belong to the room rather than announce itself within it.
