About series Cabaret
Cabaret is the result of a collaboration between the design studio Pierre Gonalons and the German brand Maytoni. The series carries the atmosphere of a contemporary cabaret, an artistic space of light-hearted genres filled with refined detail, and translates it into light. The flowing lines of the metal base are inspired by the elegance of dance and by the proportions of high stage costume. The silhouette of the clear glass shade evokes graceful nudity and the flying movement of weightless textile. At the centre of the series stands the table lamp, the piece that sets the intimate atmosphere of a quietly lit table, holding the breath of a show about to begin. Pendants, a wall luminaire, a table lamp and a floor lamp let the same performance play across an entire interior.Cabaret pairs fine work in classical materials with contemporary lighting technology, at home in living rooms, boudoirs, restaurants, bars and boutique hospitality spaces, ready to bring a light, ironic and expressive note into even the most disciplined rooms.
Concept: bohemian cabaret aesthetics
The luminaire's elegant outline and smooth lines are perfectly combined with cutting-edge LED technology.
