I'm Anete Roze, an Interior designer and founder of the Interior design studio AR Design, based in Riga, Latvia.
This unique apartment, nestled in the heart of Riga, was meticulously designed for a family of four. It spans a generous 86m2. Our visual aspiration for this project was to maintain an atmosphere of openness and lightness, which we accomplished by selecting materials that harmoniously accentuated each other's textures.
Emphasizing individually designed and manufactured furniture, we complemented the room with the maximum amount of storage space in the furniture. Mixing deep matte textures with wood relief panels created a sophisticated yet inviting ambiance that blends modern elegance with organic warmth.
Light is one of the most important factors in the interior, and we always use lighting to create different room scenarios. For this project, Maytoni decorative lamps, like stars in a night sky, perfectly complement the concept, bringing not only visual elegance but also functionally separating different areas.
